Paros Environmental Park was established in 2009 to safeguard the peninsula's pristine land and flora. Nestled at the northwest tip of Paros, this sanctuary boasts a host of captivating attractions, including the historic old shipyard.

Begin your adventure with a leisurely 5km stroll along secluded pathways, meandering through our protected nature reserve. Marvel at the intricate dry stone dams strategically placed to safeguard our precious soil from erosion. As you traverse the terrain, behold the majestic Korakas lighthouse, perched atop the northern cape of Paros, offering panoramic vistas of Mykonos, Delos, Tinos, and Syros.

Admire the architectural wonder of the 17th-century Monastery of Agios Ioannis Detis, perched majestically above the sea at the park's entrance. Embark on a leisurely stroll along tranquil pathways, immersing yourself in the protected nature reserve's awe-inspiring landscapes and fragrant wild herbs.





Explore the vicinity of the monastery, where remnants of the monks' dwellings stand as silent witnesses to centuries past.
